iPhone released on 9th November 2007The iPhone will be released in the UK on the 9th November. The phones will be sold in O2 stores, Carphone Warehouse stores, Apple retail stores, and online at the iPod UK Store. It will cost £269 including VAT.
The iPhone will be on the O2 network. It will be on an 18-month contract on a tariff of £35 (200 minutes and 200 texts), £45 (600 minutes and 500 texts) and £55 per month (1200 minutes and 500 texts), all of which will include unlimited mobile data usage.
iPhone combines a revolutionary mobile phone and a widescreen iPod with touch controls. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface so you can use your finger on the touch screen - no need for a stylus.
iPhone is a widescreen iPod that lets you enjoy all your content - including music, TV shows, and movies - on a beautiful 3.5-inch widescreen display.
The iPhone includes a full version of the Safari internet browser which Apple calls "the first fully usable HTML browser on a phone".
The iPhone comes with 8GB. It also sports a built-in 2 megapixel camera and will work with Macs or PCs.

New iTunes 7 The new iTunes 7 has been called the "biggest single enhancement" ever made to iTunes. Apple opens new UK stores
In November 2004, Apple opened their first UK store in Regent Street in London. This has been followed by new stores:
The Bullring Shopping Centre in Birmingham. The Brent Cross Shopping Centre in London. The Trafford Centre in Manchester. The Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent. The Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield. As you would expect, the stores have the usual cool, tasteful Apple look. They're great places to see the full range of Apple gear, including iPods and accessories.
